FC Cincinnati is making headlines as the frontrunner to sign Bayern Munich legend Thomas Müller, with sources confirming early negotiations are underway. The 35-year-old, who will leave Bayern this summer after over two decades at the club, is considering a fresh challenge — and Cincinnati is ready to roll out the red carpet.

Müller, a World Cup winner and one of Europe’s most decorated forwards, is said to be eyeing a two-year deal worth between $5 and $6 million per season. FC Cincinnati currently holds his MLS discovery rights, giving them first crack at sealing the deal.

While no agreement has been finalized, insiders suggest that Cincinnati's front office has already engaged in preliminary talks with Müller’s representatives. The club believes his leadership, intelligence, and championship pedigree could transform the team’s attack and elevate the squad both on and off the pitch.

With competition from the likes of LAFC and San Diego FC lurking, Cincinnati must act fast to land the German maestro. If the deal goes through, it could be the biggest international signing in club history and a defining moment for soccer in Ohio.
